OK some progress. Swifts are wonderful and the swifters are perhaps not so nutty as they seem (unless the filmmaker is on the same, slippery slide?).
But saving the swift is going to require some proper organisation - so a trip to the county council HQ in Bodicote is callled for (where else?!).
There’s a distinct danger the filmmaker will get bogged down in bureaucracy - but all roads leading to Bodicote are marked ‘driver’s paradise’ so he’s happy.
A nice lady called Sue Marchand is there to describe something called ‘The Biodiversity Action Plan’. The eco-dunce filmmaker listens attentively.
